This Week's Speaker - Stacey Self - Clayton Ladue Rotary in St. Louis, Missouri

Stacey Self joined Rotary on June 5th, 1995 in Palmdale, CA., District 5260. In 1996 she moved to Dittmer  and joined the High Ridge Club. She was President in 2000-01 and named as both Outstanding Member in 2001-02 and Rotarian of the Year 2003-04. She was Special Representative for the local Interact Club 2001-05.

Stacey has served as Assistant Governor for three years and was named Outstanding Assistant Governor of the Year in April 2002. She has fulfilled several positions in the District including Youth Exchange Coordinator, Disaster Relief Task Force Coordinator, District Conference Chair  twice, & Extension Chair. Stacey was the Governor's Special Representative for two new Rotary clubs in 2002.

Stacey is active in Missouri's multi-district PETS/SETS known as "Show Me Rotary". Her Show Me Rotary involvement includes Evaluation Chair, Secretary Trainer, Facilitator and Roundtable Leader.
Stacey and her husband, Keith have hosted three Youth Exchange students.

Stacey is a Paul Harris Society Member. Stacey and Keith are Rotary Foundation Benefactors, members of the Bequest Society and are Major Donors to our Rotary Foundation. Both Keith and their daughter Elizabeth are Paul Harris Fellows. Stacey and Keith are both members of several Rotary Fellowships including , Rotarians against AIDS, Rotarians on the Internet and Rotary Conventions Goers.

It is the mission of the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis, an educational organization, to maintain a formal program of instruction to teach the game of chess and to promote and support its educational program through community outreach and local and national partnerships to increase the awareness of the educational value of chess.

Harland Crain- Harmonicas - Clayton Ladue Rotary Speaker - St. Louis, Missouri

Harland is a harmonica collector and President of Harmonica
Collectors International. His passion covers every aspect of
harmonicas from the history to the music. He has been
collecting harmonicas for over 12 years and have put together
a world class collection of over 4000 items. His collecting has
taking him to Germany, Holland, Austria, France and many
places in America in search of the finest examples he could
find. His visits to the various museums in Germany such as the
German Harmonica Museum, and the Heimat in
Trossingen.The City museum in Klingenthal and the collectors
museum in Zwota Germany have provide many hours of
enjoyment not to mention the friends he has made.
